Cortesi Gallery, founded in 2013 by Stefano and Andrea Cortesi, is a gallery with locations in Lugano and Milan specialising in Postwar European art, particularly from the 1950s to the 1980s. It stands out for its strong curatorial approach, combining historical research with market awareness, and focuses on movements such as ZERO, kinetic and programmed art, Informel, and lyrical abstraction, representing key artists of the period. In recent years, the gallery has expanded its programme to include contemporary artists, fostering a dialogue between past and present. It regularly participates in major international art fairs and complements its exhibitions with a strong commitment to research and publishing, collaborating with leading critics and art historians. Recognised as a key reference in the field, the gallery supports collectors and institutions with professional advice and continues to develop internationally oriented exhibition projects.
