Ben Brown Fine Arts is a leading international gallery specialising in post-war and contemporary art, with locations in London, Hong Kong, and New York. Established in 2004 in the heart of London's Mayfair, the gallery has become a distinguished presence in both the primary and secondary art markets. It represents an outstanding roster of contemporary artists from Europe and the Americas, including Tony Bevan, Candida Höfer, Vik Muniz, Yoan Capote, Gavin Turk, José Parlá, Awol Erizku, Nabil Nahas, Enoc Perez, and Ena Swansea. Alongside its dynamic contemporary programme, the gallery is celebrated for hosting landmark exhibitions of post-war masters such as Alighiero Boetti, Frank Auerbach, Lucio Fontana, Gerhard Richter, Alexander Calder, and Claude and François-Xavier Lalanne. In 2009, Ben Brown Fine Arts expanded its global reach by opening a gallery in Hong Kong, becoming the first major international gallery to establish a foothold in the city during its rise as a vital centre on the global art stage. Further growth followed with the launch of a seasonal space in Palm Beach in 2021, and the gallery's most recent addition in New York, which opened in Spring 2024. Among its many highlights, the gallery showcased Planète Lalanne at the 60th Venice Biennale - the first significant Italian exhibition dedicated to the visionary French duo, Les Lalanne - underscoring the gallery's longstanding relationship with the artists. Most recently, it presented Calder: Extreme Cantilever in London (2024), a groundbreaking exhibition developed in collaboration with the Calder Foundation, which celebrated the revolutionary contributions of Alexander Calder. The gallery also publishes an extensive range of exhibition catalogues, commissioning essays by leading curators and critics to complement its ambitious programmes. Ben Brown Fine Arts is a regular participant in major international art fairs, including Art Basel (Basel, Miami Beach, and Hong Kong), the Armory Show (New York), Frieze Masters, TEFAF (Maastricht and New York), miart (Milan) and Art Mumbai.
