Eredi Marelli

The Eredi Marelli historical department borns in 2006, operating indipendently and synergistically into a wider reality rised in Cantù in 1934. The exhibition and research activity is focused on the “handcraft & design” of the XXth century. It is a period in which the wonderful match between the architects ideas and the most sophisticated processing, the techniques and the use of materials of the Italian handcrafts is born and has developed. Therefore there is space for non-serial, innovative and elegant objects, mostly made on commission, but also and above all space for stories of people, designers and handcraft that are localized in territories, a real peculiar characteristic of this our Country.
