Podbielski Contemporary

The specific aim of Podbielski Contemporary is to promote contemporary photography in its various forms. Over the course of its fifteen years of activity, it has gained international recognition from collectors, peers, and institutions. Pierre André Podbielski founded Podbielski Contemporary in January 2011 in Berlin Mitte, and in 2018 he relocated the gallery to Milan, his hometown. Its founder firmly believes that a gallery, beyond representing artists and promoting their work in both institutional and commercial contexts, should also serve as a hub for the exchange of ideas about art and culture. Since its establishment, the gallery has participated in some of the most renowned contemporary art and photography fairs, including Artissima, miart, Arte Fiera, MIA Photo Fair, Paris Photo, Unseen Amsterdam, Photo London, and Photo Basel.
